Inmarsat is once again sponsoring the International Seafarers’ Welfare Awards 2019.
Organised by the International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN), the annual awards celebrate those who do most to ensure the wellbeing of all those who make their living at sea.
Nominations are now open to find the best port, seafarer centre and shipping company for welfare, plus the Dr Dierk Lindemann Welfare Personality of the Year for the organisation or individual who has made an outstanding contribution.
Seafarers make the nominations and this year will also be the judges. The winners will be announced at Inmarsat’s London headquarters on 11 September during London International Shipping Week.
