With the drone industry expected to grow to more than $82.1 billion by 2025, the possibilities of unmanned vertical flight are reaching new heights. The DroneX trade show and conference is taking place in October, with the goal of exploring how the latest technological advancements will transform operations and improve safety.
Inmarsat’s Senior Manager of UAVs and UTM, Mark ter Hove, is taking part in a joint presentation with our partner Honeywell on Tuesday 5 October at 12:30 BST in the Surveillance Theatre. The session, titled ‘Drones for Good’, will cover how the unique capabilities of our recently launched Velaris UAV solution are enabling surveillance operations in support of biosecurity, humanitarian and industrial mission success.
The following day, on Wednesday 6 October, our Senior Director of UAVs and Unmanned Traffic Management, Anthony Spouncer, will be speaking on the topic of ‘Bringing the Commercial UAV Ecosystem Together’. Join him in Keynote Theatre 1 between 13:15 – 13:45 BST, as he highlights the collaborative effort that Inmarsat and our partners are undertaking to drive performance, innovation and progress in the UAV industry, outlining our integral role as facilitator in the UAV ecosystem, helping operators, suppliers and regulators to take UAV growth to the next level.
