Inmarsat has once again been nominated for the ‘World’s Leading Inflight Service Provider’ at the World Travel Awards 2020, after consecutively winning the prestigious accolade for the past three years.

The nomination recognises the continued success of our pioneering GX Aviation and European Aviation Network (EAN) connectivity solutions for the airline industry, which bring inflight Wi-Fi to passengers at 35,000 feet to enable them to seamlessly browse the internet, stream videos, use social media and more at comparable speeds to land-based broadband connectivity.

GX Aviation and EAN customers include some of the world’s leading airlines such as Qatar Airways, AirAsia, Austrian Airways, Eurowings, Virgin Atlantic, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and British Airways.

Finalists in the award categories are nominated by an illustrious panel of travel and tourism executives from across the world. Travel industry professionals and consumers worldwide are invited to cast their votes for the 2020 titles from now until 25 October 2020 when voting closes.
