Farnborough International Airshow

null

Farnborough, UK

Inmarsat will be exhibiting at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), which takes place in the heart of the birthplace of British aviation.

FIA provides an unrivalled platform for businesses from across the world of aerospace and defence to come together to exchange knowledge and develop vital commercial relationships. This year the event is focussing on reconnection and future planning, with a return to face-to-face interactions in a safe environment.

Come and meet the Inmarsat Global Government Aero Team in Hall 1, stand 1510, where they can provide you with all the latest updates on our nose to tail connectivity solutions for government, including details of newly launched L-MAX, our wideband streaming L-band service developed in response to government specific Communications-On-The-Move (COTM) requirements for high throughput connectivity and small aperture capability and ideal for enhanced ISR capabilities.

Panel sessions

We will also be participating in three sessions:

Is outdated technology jeopardising your ISR mission success?
19 July | 10:30-10:50 BST | Finn 2, Hall 2

Join Inmarsat Global Government's Aero Business Development Manager, Ben Corbett, when he will talk about how critical dependence on SATCOM connectivity for optimal ISR missions – and the limits of this connectivity have pushed the envelope in recent years.  This session will outline how and why connectivity is a key enabler to the gateway of sophisticated, secure and critical AISR missions globally as well as detailing the satellite network advances planned out to 2040 to make sure you stay ahead of the game.

The ISR domain is rapidly evolving – are we up for the challenge?
19 July | 11:00-11:50 BST | Finn 2, Hall 2

Inmarsat Global Government President Todd McDonell will host a panel session on collaboration, integration and the critical role that SATCOM can play in enabling AISR missions of the future.

Design principles for mobility satcoms
19 July | 13:30-13:50 | Space Theatre, Hall 4

In a keynote, Inmarsat Director, Spacecraft Infrastructure and Advanced Payloads, Eva Gonzalez, will discuss why understanding the nature of mobility communications when designing your satellite solutions is essential to remaining competitive.  Her session will go through the key concepts involved in the equation, focussing on the space segment component from an engineering perspective.

How can we combine and play with radiation, propagation, technology and satellite resources (power, spectrum, mass, volume) in a smart way?

We can’t wait to connect and reconnect with you there.
