Inmarsat and partner e3 Systems played host to a roundtable of superyacht captains at the Monaco Yacht show this week to discuss the future of connectivity for the luxury boat market.
The event in Monte Carlo was designed to gain insight into the communication needs of captains and crew and to introduce Inmarsat’s upcoming Fleet Xpress proposition specifically designed for the superyacht market.
“The communication needs of this market are very different to the commercial maritime market, in which Fleet Xpress has been highly successful over the last 12 months, so an event like this is a fantastic way to discuss our soon-to-be launched proposition and understand more about future demands of this sector,” said Ron Vollenga, Vertical Market Manager, Inmarsat Maritime.
