Posidonia, the international exhibition that takes place in Greece each year, is back after a short absence due to the pandemic. The team at Inmarsat are excited to return to this influential event in 2022, where industry players from both the Greek and international shipping community gather to discuss all sectors of the shipping industry.

The future of safety seminar

​​Addressing what the future holds for safety at sea, this two-hour seminar will explore the actions that the maritime industry can take to prevent major incidents from happening.

Delving into the findings from Inmarsat’s second “Future of Safety” report, based on data gathered from Global Maritime Distress and Safety System over the last four years, our team of experts will talk through trends that can create a safer future for shipping.

From the lessons learned since COVID-19, to the ongoing pressures and challenges created by climate change and supply chain issues, our panel will offer insights and solutions, helping to shape the journey towards digitalisation and decarbonisation.
