Inmarsat is supporting this year’s OSJ Middle East Conference, focused on three key themes – Digitalisation, Decarbonisation and Future Fuels. The conference gathers both regional and international players in the offshore support vessel (OSV) sector, allowing experts to address challenges the industry is facing and share knowledge to provide direction for the future.
With the 2022 agenda naturally focused on key opportunities in the Middle East and Africa regions, we will contribute our thoughts in digitalisation and connectivity and how it can help to optimise efficiencies and drive towards decarbonisation goals.
Inmarsat Maritime’s EMEA Senior Sales Manager, Ab Argam will be running a session titled “Connectivity as a strategy” on day two of the conference.
He’ll talk through how digital capabilities can increase performance, efficiency, profitability and sustainable operations in the shipping industry, helping ship owners and managers to drive towards important decarbonisation targets.
During the session, Ab will also drill down into the detail of which operations and processes should be digitalised and why, clearly demonstrating the benefits and exploring the new digital technologies that are just around the corner.
