Inmarsat is attending the Annual Offshore Support Journal Conference 2021 in London, which delves into the current state of market and gathers together offshore professionals to discuss key issues within the industry, whilst planning for the future in a changed world.
The development of the OSV sector will naturally be a focus and at this important time for growth, there will be plenty to explore around the adoption of new technologies and innovations to drive that growth. Digitalisation, IoT, AI and automation will be key topics, as will the drive to find solutions that meet zero-emission targets and reducing fuel and maintenance costs.
Inmarsat will be part of this important event with a presentation by Eric Griffin, Inmarsat’s Vice President of Offshore Energy & Fishing on 17 November at 15.00 (GMT).
His session, entitled “Autonomy as a game changer for the global OSV market” will provide details around advances in remote and autonomous solutions, whilst also sharing ideas for innovative concepts that will drive development and their benefits. Eric will also talk about how to deliver safe and reliable operations from shore.
