Inmarsat it proud to be sponsoring the European Space Forum, the event that provides a platform to discuss in great detail the challenges and opportunities facing the rapidly changing landscape of the space industry.

Taking place at the Thon Hotel EU in Brussels as well as online on 25-26 October, the forum will cover topics including space management, keeping European space competitive, space traffic management and the power of space to address key EU political priorities.

On Day 1 at 09:45 -10:00 CET, Inmarsat CEO Rajeev Suri will deliver a keynote presentation in his capacity as Chairman of the Global Satellite Operators Association (GSOA).

Later that day at 14:10-15:40 CET, Inmarsat Chief Strategy Officer, Fredrik Gustavsson will take part in the panel session 3: Ensuring European capabilities in space – are we doomed to dependence? which will be moderated by Thierry Lefort, Director at PWC Strategy&.

This session will look at key technical capabilities such as launch and surveillance, how Europe measures up compared to other regions and the measures that are needed to ensure the future independence and autonomy of Europe’s space sector against a backdrop of a fast-moving international space landscape and fierce competition.
