Global Xpress wins MSUA Award for government mobility

Inmarsat attended the first annual Mobile Satellite Users Association (MSUA) Mobility Satellite Innovation Awards at SATELLITE 2016.

This event on 8 March brought together many of the industry’s top companies to celebrate cutting-edge mobility innovations designed for the SATCOM market.

Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, Inmarsat Senior Vice President, Government Strategy & Policy, U.S. Government Business Unit, was on hand to accept the Top Government Mobility Satcom Innovation award for Global Xpress, the next-generation end-to-end system, which brings seamless, affordable Ka-band for users anywhere around the globe.

This award further underscores Inmarsat’s position as a trusted provider of mobile satellite solutions in support of government organisations.

MSUA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the interests of users and providers of satellite mobility solutions worldwide.
