Inmarsat Value Added Reseller, COMSAT, announced that it was named an awardee under the Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions (CS3) contract with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
Under the program, COMSAT will provide advanced commercial SATCOM solutions to government users worldwide to augment their military satellite communications.
Via this ten-year, multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract, COMSAT will deliver the world’s most extensive portfolio of global narrowband and wideband services in support of multiple types of requirements, such as Interactive Services; Continuity of Operations (COOP); Broadcast Satellite Services; Direct Customer, Steady State, and Emergency Responder Operations; and Fleet & Asset Tracking and Reporting Services.
The combination of COMSAT’s secure terrestrial network and Inmarsat’s Global Xpress and BGAN networks enables the Department of Defense (DoD) to deploy globally with a robust information assurance posture.
