11 February 2019 - 12 February 2019
With no respite in rising passenger expectations for in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC), airlines are continuing to invest in their passenger experience offerings. Inflight Middle East is the established premier IFEC event in the Gulf region, and in 2018 the show expanded to encompass carriers based in North Africa too.
Inmarsat is Silver sponsor of Inflight Middle East 2019, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on the exhibition floor of Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME).
Representatives of Inmarsat Aviation will be participating in the Inflight Workshop, which attracts senior airline executives and industry leaders from across the cabin technology spectrum to debate the latest topics affecting the market. With a panel of expert speakers and active audience participation, the sessions provide valuable insight to inform future strategic decisions.
On the first day of the event, Neale Faulkner, Inmarsat Aviation Director of Market Development MEASA will take part in Session 1: Satellite communications (11.15-12.00), a general discussion about ownership and leasing satellite capacity. The session will cover the benefits of each model for service providers, airline customers, and satellite manufacturers.
The following day, Gurpreet Sidhu, Market Development Manager, Inmarsat Aviation, will take part in Session 5: Connectivity (11:00-11:45), which poses the question: While most talk is on enhancing the passenger experience, what benefits does on-board connectivity give to the crew?
