05 November 2019 - 07 November 2019
Europe’s premier military satellite event, Global Milsatcom, returns to London to discuss key topics challenging the industry, including emergent LEO mega constellations, resilience, payload delivery, and BLOS (beyond line of sight) capability – ultimately reviewing how future satellite communications can deliver the bandwidth and connectivity demanded by governments.
Inmarsat Global Government will be at the three-day event to demonstrate the trusted, secure services that make us the leading provider of mission-critical services globally. Visitors to our stand can find out more about Inmarsat’s next-generation satellites, set to transform network capabilities.
With the first of these launches planned for later this year and 12 Ka-band payloads scheduled to be in orbit by 2023, the new satellites will introduce unprecedented capacity and agility and provide enhanced coverage across the globe, including the Arctic.
On day one, Nick Shave, Inmarsat Global Government Vice President, Strategy & Programmes, will join an industry panel discussion on Perspectives from the Primes – Delivering Robust Satcom Capability Moving Forward. The session will provide an outline of current technology and where future trends will shape capability over the next 10 years, and look at how to balance sovereign, commercial and pooled solutions for MILSATCOM.
Later that day, Inmarsat CTO Peter Hadinger will be giving a presentation.
At lunchtime on 5 November, Inmarsat will host a drinks reception to mark our 40th anniversary in 2019.
