Inmarsat honoured with prestigious IVCA award

Inmarsat’s award-winning Timeline video took the Bronze title in the Best International Film category at the 2013 IVCA Awards.

Timeline powerfully charts the company’s landmark achievements throughout its then 34-year history against a backdrop of major global news stories and events, including the end of apartheid, 9/11 and the presidential election win of Barack Obama.

Chris McLaughlin, Inmarsat Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Marketing Communications, was at the event to collect the award with Shirin Dhala, Inmarsat’s Head of Events.

“I am absolutely delighted that Inmarsat and our production company, Twentyfirst / Cheerful Scout, have been recognised by the IVCA,” said Chris McLaughlin.

“We were up against huge global brands and so it is an incredible honour to have been recognised for our creativity in producing innovative and effective communications.”

The IVCA Awards are renowned internationally as a mark of excellence for corporate and public sector communications in video, interactive projects, business television and digital media.
