Satellite repositioning

Coverage for some of Inmarsat's services has changed.

Following the successful launch of its third I-4 satellite on 18 August 2008, Inmarsat has repositioned the I-4 constellation in order to optimise the network and deliver global coverage.

Where there has been an impact on a service, we provide details of the change in coverage through the links below.

Impact on users

All other Inmarsat services are not affected by the satellite repositioning process and coverage remains the same.
