FleetBroadband is the first maritime communications service to provide cost-effective broadband data and voice, simultaneously, through a compact antenna on a global basis.
Terminals
Three types of terminal are available, with different performance capabilities and size depending on your requirements.
FB150
FB150 is our new entry-level service, specifically designed for small to medium-sized
vessels. It offers standard IP up to 150kbps. Antenna is 29.1cm in diameter.
FB250
Offers Standard IP up to 284kbps and Streaming IP up to 128kbps. Antenna is 32cm
in diameter.
FB500
Offers Standard IP up to 432kbps and Streaming IP up to 256kbps. Antenna
is 60cm in diameter.
All the terminals are designed specifically for the marine environment and also support voice, fax* and SMS.
*Fax is not available on FB150
Flexible migration
FleetBroadband takes your vessel into the IP era. But if you're not quite ready to move to IP, it still supports the core ISDN capability of our existing services.
Based on 3G standards, it provides constant, simultaneous access to voice and broadband data.
Operational systems can be running online and you can still access email, the internet and make phone calls - all via a single terminal.
