As a network operator and wholesaler, Inmarsat markets its products and services through a network of distribution partners (DPs) and service providers (SPs) operating in more than 80 countries worldwide.

Distribution partners sell Inmarsat airtime to SPs and also provide them with a range of business support systems and value-added services. DPs sometimes operate their own direct sales teams, but in the main it is the SPs who sell directly to end-users.
