Inmarsat provides a wealth of benefits and support to its partners through the Connect Partner Programme, which is open to all companies currently engaged in business with us.
We work with different types of partners to sell our services, manufacture our terminals and to develop bespoke applications and solutions that enhance the use of our network and add value for customers.
The vast majority of our services and solutions are sold through a worldwide network of Distribution Partners (DPs) and Service Providers (SPs).
Distribution Partners are our primary partners. They have a variety of business models – some sell only indirectly, others only directly, and some combine both.
Distribution Partners working on the indirect model sell Inmarsat airtime to Service Providers and also provide them with a range of business support systems and value-added services and tools.
Distribution Partners join our channel partnership at Inmarsat’s invitation. It’s not possible simply to apply to become a Distribution Partner.
Service Providers have signed an agreement with a Distribution Partner to resell Inmarsat services and solutions. They sell to end-customers, develop end-to-end solutions, carry out systems integration and bill end-customers for their services.
